360 TSS/67 Masthead

The ThirteenStriper on the IBM Beige background as opposed to the conventional black background is believed to be from the first prototype 360 Time Share System that was later released to the public as the 360/67. There was a lot of mystery surrounding the scrapping of this system. It was being believed to have been "Scrapped" from a company called Comercial Timeshare and was the first system to run multiple 360 applications in a time slice. When I asked at the time was scrapped, I was told it was a prototype of the system that eventually became the 360/67. If anyone out there has any information more about the TSS/360 system please contact me. bob(at)bradlee(dot)org

It should be noted the 360/67 all had the conventional black thirteen stripe masthead introduced in 1967 along with pageable disk storage systems.
